Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about how Zen Freight LLC quotes, verifies, and moves freight.
What kind of freight does Zen Freight LLC transport?
Zen Freight LLC is registered with FMCSA for general freight and intermodal containers. Each commodity is reviewed individually, and we do not advertise hazardous-material transportation or household-goods moving.
How do I verify your operating authority?
Search USDOT 4409644 on the FMCSA SAFER carrier snapshot. Our MC number is MC-1732102. The FMCSA record is authoritative.
Are you a carrier or a broker?
Zen Freight LLC is registered as an authorized for-hire interstate motor carrier of property. We are not a freight brokerage, so shippers work with the carrier directly.
How quickly will I get a response to a quote request?
A representative reviews each request and responds as soon as possible. We do not publish a guaranteed response time, because a realistic answer depends on the lane and equipment availability. Calling the office is the fastest way to reach us about urgent freight.
What information do you need to quote a shipment?
Origin and destination with ZIP codes, pickup and delivery dates and appointment requirements, commodity and packaging, piece count, weight, dimensions, requested equipment, and loading or unloading method.
Do you handle intermodal container moves?
Intermodal containers are one of our registered cargo classifications. Send the terminal, container size, weight, chassis requirements, appointment, and empty return instructions and we will confirm what we can support. We do not claim port credentials or owned chassis.
Do you work with freight brokers and 3PLs?
Yes. Brokers and 3PLs can request a carrier packet, post a load opportunity, or start a lane conversation through the brokers page. Insurance certificates and W-9 documents are provided on request.
Can you commit to dedicated capacity?
We are glad to discuss recurring lanes and contract freight, but we do not promise dedicated capacity, guaranteed coverage, or specific equipment counts before those commitments have been reviewed and confirmed in writing.
Is submitting a quote request the same as booking a shipment?
No. A submitted request is not a booking, a rate confirmation, or a guarantee of capacity. Service is confirmed in writing before any shipment is scheduled.
Are you hiring drivers?
Drivers and owner-operators can submit an expression of interest through the careers page. We review each submission and contact candidates when there is a genuine opening. Submitting a form does not create an offer of employment or a contract.
Have freight that needs a reliable transportation partner?
Send shipment details and a Zen Freight representative will review the lane, timing, and equipment requirements.
